Brentwood Levee Trail
Begins: Webster Street
Ends: Rhode Island Ave/Rte 1

This .9 mile paved trail, in nearby Brentwood, follows a levee along the Anacostia River. Cross the river at 38th St. to connect to Northwest Branch Trail. No trail-head parking. Park in Hyattsville's 38th Ave. neighborhood (5004 MD-208); walk 38th St. south to Brentwood trail.

The 1,100-acre PG County park is open all year. No entrance fee! it offers camping, nine miles of trails, and three picnic areas.
​
The campground is known to be affordable, safe and tranquil. Campers must pay for sites via the online reservation system.

North Brentwood Memorial Garden

The memorial garden was dedicated on April 28, 2007. It is a peaceful space with trees, flowers and benches. Citizens gather here each Memorial Day to honor veterans from our Town and throughout the US.

Anacostia Trails Heritage Area is one of 13 Certified Heritage Areas in Maryland.
The Area consists of 100-plus square miles of northern PG County and parts of – DC, Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel Counties. Anacostia Tributary Trail System has a network of bike and water trails.
